12 Great Games
Enjoy 12 fun-filled games in Wii Play™: Motion using the pinpoint precision of the included Wii Remote™ Plus at every turn! With multiple variations of the featured games on offer, up to four players can get in on the action and compete or cooperate in accessible challenges that reward precise movements and will keep everyone coming back for more. There are plenty of games you can tackle alone too as you go for the medals and bid to break records time and again. Whatever way you play, the Wii Remote Plus ensures your every move counts as you twist, turn and attempt to triumph with your Mii™ characters!
Skip Skimmer

The satisfaction of skimming a stone across clear water comes home thanks to the power of the Wii Remote Plus. The angle of your controller will determine the angle of your selected stone when it hits the water, and every time it skips on the surface you’ll earn a point. You’re just a flick of the wrist away from shattering the record!
Game Modes
Select five stones and send them skimming off into the distance, one at a time – or watch them sink without a trace. Your final score is determined by adding together the number of skips you achieve with each stone. Do well enough and you could earn special stones that add sound effects as they skim over the water, and don’t forget to analyse your angles afterwards with tips designed to teach you a thing or two about becoming a better Skip Skimmer.
The competition jumps up a notch as up to four players compete on five courses designed to accommodate skillful skimming. Take turns aiming for a target at the end of each course, skipping your stone through rings en route and strategically using one game-changing stone that will earn you double points.
Teeter Targets

Hold the Wii Remote Plus sideways and use its pinpoint precision to control a tilting seesaw. Every minute movement is recognised as you tilt the controller left and right and attempt to propel a ball towards targets. Destroy more than one target with a single flick and you’ll get bonus points, but lose a ball and 10 seconds will be deducted from your time.
Game Modes
Race against the clock to destroy targets as quickly as you can. Hitting special items will buy you more time as you advance through 30 increasingly tricky stages.
Share the screen with another player as you compete to smash targets. Just don’t let your ball fall to your opponent’s seesaw, or it will become theirs and give them twice the firepower!
Endless mode includes three distinct games to enjoy. In Sideways Stage, carefully guide a ball along horizontal platforms and see how many metres you can make it. Upwards Stage poses a similar challenge, only now you’ll be trying to clock up vertical metres with your seesaw-tilting antics. Finally, Bounce Stage calls on you to juggle a ball as you attempt to propel it over a red line that keeps advancing higher up the screen.
Veggie Guardin’

When your precious vegetable patch comes under threat, it’s time to hit back! Use the Wii Remote Plus like a hammer and come down hard on the moles that pop up and try to pinch your fine foodstuffs. Crack enough moles in a row and you’ll be rewarded with a giant hammer. That ought to teach them...
Game Modes
Give the mischievous moles a whack on the head to warn them off your veggies, but be careful not to hit Mii characters that pop up to replenish your stocks. Advance through all five stages and you’ll come face to face with a mole that requires a little more taming than most!
Play against friends and go for a high score as you hit as many moles as possible. No vegetables are at stake, but pride certainly is!
Memorise the order the five moles pop up in and then lash out at them in the correct sequence. Their coloured hats might help you keep track of which mole to bash when!
Wind Runner

You know you’ve got a recipe for fun when you combine giant wind fans, a Mii wearing roller blades and an umbrella! In Wind Runner, you’ll catch the breeze by opening your umbrella and pick up speed by making fine adjustments to its angle with the Wii Remote Plus. Race from start to finish on a course where catching big air and gems aplenty is the name of the game!
Game Modes
Aim for a record time and grab gems as you go. If you want to reach new heights, head for one of the giant ramps.
In this split-screen race for glory, both players are guaranteed to be gone with the wind! Finishing first might not earn you the win though – the number of gems you collect counts for something too. You can even cause your rival to drop their speed and maybe a few gems by crashing into them.
Prepare for take-off! Take turns to roll along a long stretch of track then lift off and ride the wind as you bid to travel as many metres as possible.
Speed is the name of the game in Time Attack. With no gems to collect you can focus on reaching the finishing line in record time.
Pose Mii Plus

Floating through a serene tunnel might sound nice, but your Mii won’t thank you if you send them crashing into a wall! With the +Control Pad of the Wii Remote Plus facing you, you’ll turn the controller in order to make your avatar rotate into the position required to pass through a Mii-shaped hole. The more times you get it right, the higher a score you’ll build up. Hit the wall three times and it’s game over! Two players can take up the challenge together, sharing three turns between them – which means if one of you takes a hit, you’ll both pay the price!
Spooky Search

The Wii Remote Plus becomes your ultimate ghost-bustin’ weapon in your bid to clear the room of escaped ghouls. As players point their Wii Remote Plus around the room – rather than at the TV – it will rumble and beep with increasing intensity as you get closer to finding a ghost. When you track one down, hold the B Button and drag your catch back onto the TV screen and into the safety of a trap. With three levels and plenty of ghosts to tackle, you’d better not spook easily!
Star Shuttle

Play among the stars as your Mii takes control of a space shuttle and steers coloured objects to the corresponding part of a giant space station. Precision is the name of the game as you use the +Control Pad as well as the A and B Buttons of the Wii Remote Plus to activate thrusters in all directions. Combine thruster control with motion control by tilting the Wii Remote Plus to steer your cargo to its destination. On-screen indicators help you keep track of your speed and how far away you are from the space station.
Game Modes
Dock with the space station as quickly as possible and fine-tune your skills as you play through dozens of increasingly tricky levels.
In this best-of-three challenge, you’ll have to dock with the space station before your opponent. Victory will feel out of this world, defeat may bring you back to earth with a bump.
Flutter Fly

Don’t let the blue skies deceive you, Flutter Fly is no breeze! Your Wii Remote Plus becomes a fan in the form of a leaf, which you’ll use to waft a bunch of balloons through the air and along a course littered with gems. Twist and wave the Wii Remote Plus to change the position of your on-screen fan and keep your balloons on track!
Game Modes
Gems equal points as you soar through the sky and waft your balloons across four stages. If a crow pops up to pop your balloons, point the Wii Remote Plus at the screen, get the pesky bird in your sights and send it packing!
Race against a friend and try to get your balloons to the finish first. Someone’s bubble is going to get burst, so don’t let yourself down!
Trigger Twist

UFOs, ninjas or dinosaurs could attack from any angle in this innovative point-and-shoot game. Holding the Wii Remote Plus controller, you’ll move your arm to aim at enemies on the screen, but you’ll have to move your body too! As you pivot on the spot, you’ll reveal a 360 degree field of play. If it turns out there’s a giant dinosaur behind you, you’d better steady yourself and take aim at the screen again fast! With two players, your scores will be combined to give a final total, although you’ll also see your individual scores – making it clear whose contribution was most significant!
Cone Zone

In Cone Zone, the tension mounts as the ice cream piles up! Holding the Wii Remote Plus upright, you’ll have to make subtle movements to balance an ice cream cone as it is stacked with one scoop after another. Play it right, and the sky’s the limit – or is it?
Game Modes
Introduce some rivalry to the Cone Zone mix as you try to outlast a friend. The first player to melt under the pressure and topple their ice cream tower - as well as their opponent’s - loses.
Hold the Wii Remote Plus upright and make a circular motion to turn a stream of soft-serve ice cream into the perfect cone. Points are awarded based on the perfection (or otherwise) of your finished product!
Treasure Twirl

The ocean is brimming with dangers just beneath the surface, but the risks are worth the rewards! Lower your Mii to the seabed by holding the Wii Remote Plus sideways and rotating the controller away from you as if it was a winch handle. Collect gems and avoid enemies on the way down by titling the controller left and right then grab all the treasure you can carry and return to the surface. Simple, right? The sharks may disagree...
Game Modes
Take the plunge alone and see how many points you can rack up by collecting gems and treasure. Will you be out of your depth or take to treasure hunting like a duck to water?
Two Mii characters can carry twice as much treasure, but you’ll have to work together to make it to the surface with something to show for your dive. Each Mii holds one side of a tray, and if players are moving at different speeds or hitting enemies, the tray will tip and your treasure will sink off into the distance.
Jump Park

Tackle four fairground-themed levels and leap to a new record as you grab gems scattered through the sky. In Jump Park, the ground is so soft that your Mii will bounce every time they touch down – the angle they bounce at is down to how you angle the Wii Remote Plus whilst holding it upright. Hold the A Button as they plunge from the air and your next jump will take you even higher!
Game Modes
Attempt to collect 100 gems as quickly as possible then race towards the goal. Things get especially interesting when two players tackle Jump Park, as each player will take turns at determining the jumping angle of Mii characters holding hands. Don’t let your partner down!
There are no gems to grab in Time Attack, only new records. Bounce as best you can and as quickly as possible towards the goal.
