Tony moved to the Northern Territory after cyclone Tracey in the 70s. He started an engineering business that within ten years was the biggest in the region. Christmas drinks in 1984 with friends sparked the idea to start a tourist operation in Darwin and this is where Adelaide River Queen Cruises was born. In the early years they found it hard to find the crocodiles, but surely enough with a bit of persuasion they ventured over to the boats and are now regulars to the three boats in operation which function every single day.
