As the official gaming console supplier of the Australian Open, Nintendo is proud to present an innovative new way to explore the 2010 Australian Open - the Nintendo DSi™ Audio Tour.
Narrated by Australian tennis great Pat Cash, the tour provides an illuminating journey through Melbourne Park’s iconic locations, sharing secrets and insights about what makes the Australian Open tick.

"We are pleased to be working with Nintendo to offer this new and immersive spectator experience to provide a more in-depth understanding of the 2010 Australian Open," said Australian Open CEO, Steve Wood.
Comprising 11 stops, the Nintendo DSi Audio Tour visits the famous gates of the Australian Open that fans first trekked through in 1988, provides legendary stories surrounding epic matches that have featured on Centre Court (often into the early hours of the morning) and has listeners walking amidst Australia’s most famous tennis players… immortalised in frozen moments.
The tour will give behind the scenes information into the catering required to satisfy the 600,000 plus fans that visit the Australian Open each year. The tour also provides an insight into the Players’ Café and the number of support staff that make the Australian Open an acclaimed international event.
"The tour is a lot of fun, recording the audio was a great trip down memory lane, covering off so many moments that have made the Australian Open such a great tournament," said Pat Cash.
